Keep male quail together or in their own hutch?

Some males can get along okay (I have two males that get along great), so keeping them together might work (might. quails are unpredictable). However, if you separated them into two groups, you could keep track of bloodlines better, making it easier to avoid inbreeding.

If you are planning to breed their chicks together, I would suggest separating them. If not, I would suggest keeping them together, as long as they get along.
