Keeping chicken in Phoenix

Hi, I just got my first baby chicks. They are about five days old and living in a brooder in my bathroom. It is really hot right now in Phoenix so they will not go outdoors for about four weeks when it starts to cool down, at least at night. Would love to hear from others in the desert southwest with any advice on keeping chickens in this harsh summer climate.
