This is my first time keeping chicks, and I have two of them (i can’t tell if they’re black australorp or if they are Plymouth Rock or whatever. What’s not shown on the picture is the white butt, they both have white bottoms). I keep my chicks outside during the daytime, as it is quite warm; but lately, they’ve learned to peck at the glass door to get my attention, and once I open the door, they just walk right in. As far as I know, chicks are super happy foraging and digging outside, and I make sure that they have what they need outside (food and water), so I’m not seeing why they want to come in. I’m just wondering if I’m missing something, which is why they want in.
