I am just wondering, does anyone else keep ducks around their horses? I have my horses on vitamins, but what I am really wondering about is the Strongid C daily dewormer the horses are on, and the ducks possibly eating horse manure if they get in where the horses are at. I am not too worried about the vitamins or the Cosequin coming through in the manure, I am more concerned with the pyrantel tartate in the wormer and possible residue in the manure.
Right now they are seperated so it has not posed a problem, but I was wondering if anyone had experience with this. I had thought of calling Pfizer direct and asking them, but I would rather hear from people who have had experience from this particular combination of animals and possible problems/lack thereof.
