I read a post earlier (darned if I can find it now!) saying that the person doesn't feed or have feed in the roosting house. My house is nearing completion and is a combined roost and nesting boxes. I haven't decided yet about providing food, but I have water plumbed in. How many other people don't have feed available in the house, but just water? The post said that it keeps the quarters cleaner, plus all they really need to be doing is sleeping anyway. If there's not any "food" to keep them occupied, are they more likely to pick at each other? The weather in Oregon isn't severe, so they'd be outside everyday with an option to come in the house anytime. I'd like to hear the pros and cons. Thanks!
