I'm here to learn practical suggestions as I've just renovated my chicken coop and am ready to introduce a dozen 5 week old pullets into their new 20'x8' secure run with elevated nesting boxes and varying height roosts. I've got 6 egg laying (pet) breeds and have been familiarizing them with each other, my voice and touch in a huge temporary dog cage coop the past few days. Before I let them roam free I want to hear the pros and cons of introducing 2 new mini lop rabbits (with their own 2 story rabbit playhouse hutch) in the same secure space. Thanks for your feedback.

no ... I mean to put the rabbit hutch in the coop for their privacy and safety at night closed up and during the day when I'm out in the yard with them, let everyone mingle. The chickens have their nesting boxes, perches & food upper level of coop (10' high ceiling) and the rabbits have their 2-level hutch on the ground with their food & litter boxes inside.

P S: chickens have the back wall and corner end (20' long x 8' wide) for roosting & eating (droppings) and the rabbits would have the front wall with their food protected inside hutch.
