Good Morning! Question-- we have 2 adult roosters ( year plus ) that get along together. In April, we were given 9 chicks by a lady that had no clue what to do with chickens. We have raised them and want to keep the hens ( they are now 18 weeks old). 4 out of those 9 are apparently roosters. Those roosters are going to a rescue as soon as we have it "confirmed by crowing" if they are indeed male.
So far, all of them have integrated nicely with one another but I'm worried that some of these "younger males" will challenge our 2 older roosters. Should I separate the 4 I think are roosters now?
Thank you
