Hi,
Yesterday, I got a trio of black Bantam Wyandotte's. After the deaths of all my show birds (hawks) I needed something full grown to show this spring. So yesterday I went to an auction and what do you know, I come across a nice looking trio. I just had to get them, especially the cockerel. He had excellent confirmation. I live in the city though, but I didn't think he would be loud - he didn't make a sound at the show yesterday. 5:00 in the morning: Cock-a-doo-dle-doo. As loud as a LF. We could hear him in the house and he was in the garage. I want to keep him, but if he continues being this loud, it may be time to start looking for a new home. Any suggestions on how to keep him quiet?
