Keeping Temminck's tragopans in trios

Does anyone have any experience keeping Temminck's tragopans in trio? Was pondering adding extra hens to my pairs.

It's usually not reccommended because the hens will fight each other for breeding privileges to the male.

Ok. That's kinda what I was thinking.

Trios generally work fine if the hens have been raised together and stay together. Adding a hen to an existing pair generally will not work.

being raised together means nothing when the hormones flow.
