Keets hatching!

It's going to be a small hatch at best, started out with only four fertile eggs, and so far two have hatched. But they're colored! And they look like they're Opaline, which is what I really wanted. With luck it will be a pair, but I'd take two females too!

Keep your fingers crossed that at least one more egg hatches.

Not sure about Opaline, might be Coral Blue. Will take pics this morning as they go into the brooder. Only two (I had so hoped for three!)

Ok, here are the pics. I think they are Coral Blue, based on the pics at Frit's site. Was hoping for Opaline, but will take CB for sure! Fingers crossed at least one is female.

You can see the tan between the stripes on their heads here, which pretty much makes them Coral Blues.
