What sort of ruff quantities should I give per hen?

I add 2% to their feed but I have seen people recommend 1-4%. More than that for meat birds, all the way up to 6%. I just do 2% which roughly is one teaspoon to one cup of food. They loved when I sprinkled it on top, but I add it to their fermented feed now, they don't know if is in there
