Kelp

I order my kelp from McMurray Hatchery but have also been looking into the Thorvin Icelandic Kelp and found the most information about it and ordering at WolfCreek Ranch holistic products.

Here is their website so you can at least see how they use it and ALL the uses for the kelp meal around other animals and your natural garden etc.

McMurray's kelp has done fine, I have it free choice in a "baby pig feeder" along with the grit feeder and oyster shell feeder, but I'm really into the detailed info and analysis of what I'm feeding so I know exactly what the girls are getting (and am also looking into other holistic products). That's how I happened upon WolfCreek Ranch a few months ago.

Hope this helps!

* You can also get it at a lot of health food stores and Solid Gold pet products has a mix of seaweeds that I like for my pets. I'm consersative using with my hen because of the possible salt content of seaweeds.
