Kenosha (WI) needs to get crackin' on a chicken ordinance

I'm really not sure why Kenosha can't seem to get an ordinance allowing chickens. Pretty much every neighboring town or city allows them, including our Illini neighbors to the south. Racine just passed theirs in May of 2015. There are many followers on the "Kenosha backyard chickens" facebook page, so...I don't get it.

I think we cheeseheads in the southeast need to help things along. I'm personally am unaffected, as I'm outside city limits and zoned agriculture, but I'm sympathetic.

Lets do it. I feel a ballot initiative is in order. Lets get our state's constitution ammended so everyone can produce their own food by Right.
