Some of my frostbite (healed already) affected hens now appear to have favus - white floury stuff on the combs, long after any frostbite could be occurring and in locations not typical for frostbite (like near the base of the comb). I can get miconazole, but I already have several tubes of ketoconazole cream 2% on hand. Any problems with applying this to the combs? Has anyone tried this before with success?
