Khaki Campbell sexing?

I have heard that khaki campbell day old ducklings can be sexed by their bill? The females will have a longer one the males will have a shorter one. Is this true? Or is there any other way to sex them other than vent sexing? And how hard is vent sexing?

i have never heard of that way but vent sexing on day old ducks is not that hard if you know what to look for you basicly are looking for a little tiny hook on the males

Yes I was reading up on the vent sexing in my book. Do you have to gently squeeze the poop out like you do on chicks?

when you try to open the vent the poo just comes out on ducks and geese but you want a paper towl to wipe it away so you can see better
