When do they stop laying eggs?

They will stop for a number of reasons including - Molting- illness- lack of enough day light hours and also when they are going broody. When as in what season.. usually over winter they wont lay.

I mean when does their production slow and stop with age? How many egg laying years do they normally have?

I'd say they'd lay for about 5 years.

Mine never seem to stop laying, even when molting etc.

As they are such prolific egg layers, they don;t tend to have the same kind of egg cycle as other breeds, they tend to just lay all year round!
