My khaki campbells were laying up to 7 eggs a day (1 per duck) until sometime in May. I attributed it to them molting for what seemed like a second time. The first was in February/March time frame and I had a coop full of small feathers. Then, in May, they started losing bigger feathers. They all are a year old, so this was our first spring. I have just started getting 2-3 eggs a day in the last week. We are in Georgia, so I don't know if heat is issue or if there is another reason why they aren't all laying again now that the feathers are all in again. I know which duck is my main layer of at least 1 egg. She is also my dominant duck in group and was last to feather out. Has anyone else experienced this issue with khakis?
