Kitten got parakeet!

This is the second time! Our tortoise shell kitten Juno got our parakeet Gwin, his tail feathers are gone and there were feathers all over the floor, he seems fine but still.

When you let the parakeet out, keep the cat in a separate room. Too many birds have died from this happening.

We do, he’s only closed up at night and the door is always shut but someone forgot to shut the door in the rush to leave… she got him when we were gone, not sure how he got away, it was either we got home and she ran out or the dog scared her off
