kittens and pullets

we recently got a kitten and he seems obsessed with the chickens every time they are out of the coop he keeps running to them and lays down and stares at them or runs into the coop and sits in their nests or tries to touch them with his paws. some of the pullets are really sassy and have pecked him several times though so he is starting to be a bit more careful around them. i cant tell if he wants to eat them or make friends but lets hope for the latter

btw we do not leave him alone with the chickens if he is with them two people are always around because i am a bit scared they will attack him

Most cats will try to "play" with chickens, or at least investigate them. I haven't had any of mine actually hurt any. Your kitty is adorable.

I also got kitten 2 months ago. He is now 4 months and chickens are a month older than him. He is a part of their flock. Im training him to guard chickens.
