Hi everyone, I've been away for a while and now back in New Zealand on my beautiful cottage property again. I had to leave and nurse my dear old dad back in the u.k but all is well now and I'm back on track. My chooks are looking good after the kind help from neighbours who have kept and eye on them in return for as many eggs as they can manage and in the time I was away, almost nine months I think, there have been some additions. I only got back a couple of days ago and haven't really made the rounds yet but will catch up on my beauties this week. My good friend Alex has built a stunning new coop for me and introduced some new breeds plus I have some chicks to come home to.!!
I'll be back in the flow of things after i've had a chance to unpack and gather up my thoughts on what needs to be done next. It's summer time here and I'm looking forward to catching up with old and new friends.
