Knitted egg holster to incubate chicks WITHOUT a 'bator...the brabator

This board is sooo entertaining. I can't remember what life was like before BYC. It sure is nice to know that I'm not the only crazy person. Thanks chicken family ...for starting my morning with sach a hearty laugh! My co-workers think I'm crazy. Always laughing ....and they don't know why.
The brabator, that is too funny, and probably quite functional. DO IT

Last year a bunch of BYC members started the bodybator chalange. I looked all through the arcives and I guess it wasnt saved. One certain male even invented his own bodybator. Now most of them incubated until they either were at day 18 or even a couple waited until they pipped. I dont remember how many actually hatched eggs but I know a few did at least. It was a hoot reading how things went through the days. Also a few were cracked or dropped and broke. Maybe some day I would be tempted to try since I now stay at home and do daycare but it would be pretty hard to explain at a job why you have an extra lump in your shirt. I hope this helps out and hopfully a few that were in the chalange last year will add thier experience for you. Jenn
