Kung Foo chickens and wacky races

So my girls have started to explore the gardens in little intervals ( we have cats and one is overly curious so limiting their time at the mo)

When they come out of the run they flap like crazy across the garden stretching their wings and dart about in every direction, pecking around and head for my planting borders. Then they turn into hilarious Kung foo chickens (daughters choice of name) flapping at each other, jumping into each other and having mini stand offs.
No one gets hurt and it doesn't appear to be aggressive and it's quite hilarious to watch mini Flora try and take on the much bigger girls.

I'm assuming this is quite natural behaviour but what does it all mean? the pecking order is well assured within their home but when they come into the garden, it seems to go out of the window.

Also one girl, likes to lie on the grass with one leg kicked out to the side when she's sunbathing, is that normal? She seems fine in herself and looks quite comfortable when she does it. It just looks strange 😂

They really are wonderful little creatures and have such amazing personalities and provide hours of entertainment. I love them 😍
