Hello, chicken enthusiasts. I am a first-time chicken owner with six Buff Orpingtons that are now twelve weeks old. We purchased them from Townline Hatchery in Michigan and requested all pullets. I love them all, so it does not matter at this point; however, five of them have small, pale pink combs, and one seems quite different from the others due to its bright red comb and wattle. I am wondering whether this one might be a rooster. Curiosity is killing me haha. Thanks friends!

She might be maturing a little faster than the others, but still looks like a pullet to me.

She's just a fast-maturing pullet, some birds flush pink more and earlier than others.
