Chirping
Obviously new to this for those that have been following our build thread. We have a blue laced Wyandotte that seems to “not feel good” today.
Quick back story- 6 pullets purchased from two different people all this past Friday (one week ago tomorrow). A couple have had loose stool/ diarrhea looking. We chalked that up to new environment, different food. Everyone has seemed good outside of that.
This morning, the blue laced came out into the run when I opened it up and pooped about 3 or 4 times. The latter times seemed labored and only a little bit. She was also sticking her neck way out and had her beak open Like having trouble breathing and then would make a real loud weird sounding “cackle”. She did this over and over. We let her be, but just checked on her again a few minutes ago. She seems a little lethargic and her breathing is definitely labored. She wheezes a little as she breaths.
Any advice? She have a cold? Something else going on? She fine and we’re just overreacting?
