Man, discovering this was like christmas morning! I'm so happy one is finally laying! All five will be 20 weeks soon but it feels like forever. The other girls were rolling the egg around the run, so I put it in the nesting box. I'm gonna let my 7 year old son discover it after school today. Then I'm gonna put two holes in it, blow out whatever is inside and save it. Hoping to do that with all the first eggs. I'm a dork, I know!

i am so happy you have a tons of feathers all over the place. i was wondering what is wrong with my pullets and do i have a dirty run? (i clean it every three days). so many feathers.

our boys just checked the coop after hearing a practice egg song. They were so excited...the only thing to pull them away from friday video games!
