Hello all , what a great site I have learnt a fair bit from this page and still learning . But I didn't take to much attention to sex of chickens In till , well to late . In my area I am not allow roosters . Three out of four I am thinking are male . Well one is crowing (Male) The other two ,which the kids call the twins. One is very dominant and does a quarter crow . Which is the light grey one . So question is help . I've read ..read ..looked at pictures , am still 50/50 I got the themall at one week old early October.

Welcome!

Sorry, I am not good at gender, particularly with breeds I am not familiar with. My inexperienced guess on the front chicken is rooster.

You could try asking the question on this Forum: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this

You might want to say hello on your local thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you ‘Find your State’s thread.

I hope you enjoy BYC. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Unlike non chicken loving friends, family and colleagues, BYC’ers never tire of stories or pictures that feature our feathered and non feathered friends

Welcome to BYC! Thanks for joining us!

Those birds in the picture, are both cockerels..... Well, the first one definitely is, its a hard guess for the one in the back...since i cant necessarily see the tail feathers...
