Laid egg

I came home to find my goose has laid an egg, I'd like her to sit but she has laid it outside of the shed I put them away in on a night, They appear to be building a nest, I'm frightened if I don't lock them away on a night a fox will get them, but also don't want to disturb the egg incase she rejects it. Any advice on what I should do would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

take the egg away or move it into the shed where you want them at night for safety
