Laid first eggs, then.....

Nothing. Thats right, I got my first eggs from my BR, I believe it was her because her comb is the only one thats red and big. The others still have pink. But my problem is it seems she laid three eggs between last thursday and friday but has laid none since. Is this normal? Thank for your answers. Unfortunatlely, I was unable to get a picture of my first eggs, I was on my way to work when I found them and by the time I got home my children had broke them in the excitement of showing their friends.

So sorry you didn't get a pic - but cool that your kids love them.

Yep, it's normal. They're really off and on with laying pattern in the beginning. I have a new layer who laid one egg late last week, maybe Thursday and hasn't laid another since. It'll even out within a few weeks and become more regular.
