Lakenvelder chickens

I was just wondering if anyone here has lakenvelder chickens and are
they a good bird?

I had 4 hens from MM a while back. They were not true to the color pattern they described in the catalog. They were flighty & constantly running around like nervous wrecks. I didnt care for them & found them new homes. I switched to a more relaxing bird (silkie)

I have two, they came from Privett two years ago.

They're not very friendly but they are good layers. They're fairly small and I think very pretty. I'd say they're pretty much like Leghorns only quieter and less aggressive.

Does anyone have or know anything about Golden Lakenvelder chickens?
And besides color then are they any different from just lakenvelder chickens?

I have golden lakenvelders, my girls lay good. Not very friendly but beautiful to look at, and as stated are about the same.
Its very hard to get great color, there a work in progress.
