Lakenvelder disposition

can anyone please tell me how Lakenvelders are? from what i've read, they're good flyers. is that true? could i clip their wings? are they good egg layers? Are the eggs large? are they noisy? i've been to the Henderson chart, but i would like input from those that have owned them.....more opinions is what i'm looking for. thanks!!

I have Goldens, so I can only comment on those.

My birds are noisy, hyper, clipping doesn't stop them from flying, and they lay like mad while eating almost nothing...but take a full 3 months off at molt.

Nonetheless, I love them, and if held regularly, they can be very tolerant and affectionate.

Edited to add: Eggs are medium.

I have two lakenvelders and they are named Curious and Georgina! They are awesome flyers because they are light weight birds! Always loving flying in and out over a six foot fence! They are friendly and love to free range! Nice white egg layers! I Love them!
