I’ve got a Dominique/silkie with a lame left foot. I believe he is a rooster, about 5 weeks old. He’s very active and strong otherwise, seems healthy. They are housed in a coop, closed off from the big birds for now. I’m feeding them organic chick starter. The have pine shavings in their coop floor. His legs seem to be splayed but I’m not sure if that’s bc of the lame foot. Any ideas of what this could be and what I could do to help him??

The toes look a bit curled. From what little I've read on the topic, it could be a riboflavin deficiency perhaps. You might do a search on the forums for curled toes and see if anyone else reports symptoms that match what you are seeing.

Thank you! He was very dehydrated. I’ve isolated him with easy to reach food and water. I’ve been giving vitamins. I’ll search as you suggested.
