land line phone

How many of you don't have a land line?
We are thinking about dropping ours and just use our cell phones.
pros or cons?

I like having both. Sometimes my cell phone doesn't even have service in my own home.

We don't have a land line. We use our cell phones. I pay for mine and my DH has his free through his job. Works just fine for us.

I was paying $65 a month for the joy of having a landline just for dial up internet. I shut it off and got satellite internet for about the same price and just use my cell phone. I would NEVER go back to a land line. In todays world I just see no reason for one.

I haven't had a landline in about a year. I don't miss it at all.

Just make sure you have enough minutes so you don't have a huge surprise when the bill comes.

We"ll continue to keep our landline. When the power grid crashed several yrs ago here in the NE, it was the only way we could communicate with family. Cell phones were overwhelmed.

I am so used to the land line, I would feel wierd without it...

I think that I'd feel weird for a little while But I use my cell all the time
We dropped the computer line a couple years ago and have wireless now and it works much better than our land line computer service.
It's kinda scarey just cutting the line
My kids don't have land lines at all.

We got rid of our land line last year. I haven't missed it a bit, no more sales calls and one less bill.
