Large cyst or abscess on ankle

Hello,

I was working on a farm yesterday where there was a hen with, what appeared to be, a large (almost golf ball size) cyst or abscess on here ankle. She walked with quite a bad limp but otherwise looked well and seemed to be feeding well. I'd love to pass on some advice to the owners if anyone thinks this could be treated, to give her a better quality of life.

It could be severely infected bumblefoot, cyst, tumor, or gout. A photo would help with the chickens age, what she is being fed etc...
