Large Easter Eggers

Hello! I'm wondering if there are any specific hatcheries or breeders that have larger EEs? I have an Orpington rooster and want to get some EEs but the larger the better so he doesn't squash them!
You needn't worry about him squashing the pullets. When the girls squat on the ground the roosters weight is distributed over her back and down to the ground, not through her legs. And it's not like he's on her more than a few seconds.
My 5.75 pound Salmon Faverolles cockerel regularly mounts one of my LH girls who is not quite 4 pounds.
That being said my EEs that I got from Meyer Hatchery are/were rather large girls.

that's a good question. You never know from hatcheries what they are breeding to and none of mine I have bought have been big girls, but lay good. I have an EE pullet that is from and EE roo x buff orp. hen. she is bigger than the ones I bought. I have had others bigger as well but I bred them. Maybe you need an EE roo and use him on your larger hens to get bigger EE girls. :) Best of luck.

I have 2 EE pullets right now and our rooster is a very large BJG...have been interested in incubating a few eggs just to see what happens!
If you and flywheel do those matings be sure to let us know how they turn out! That may be the biggest EE's ever!
