In the Brooder
I was searching the internet yesterday looking for examples of large feeders that can fit at least a 50 lb bag of feed in. I had a hard time finding many examples like what I was looking for and just ended up making one up as I went. I post this so hopefully someone in that situation will see this and it will give them enough to go on to make their own like it.
I built it so that it would fit in between two studs in my coop so that I can move it outside so that I can fill it up without having to get in the coop if I want to. It holds about 80 lbs of food. Was made out of all scrap wood. If I could do it again I would probably make the feed opening at the bottom smaller. The small birds can probably sit in the tray. I will probably put up another board so there's not as big of an opening.
