I imported the parents of these pairs directly from the UK last summer and they are from HUGE Show Quality lines. The parents of my stock were winners at numerous shows in the UK and their progeny are destined to be just as great.
Do not get these birds confused with “project” Large fowl orpingtons. These birds are the real deal and true Large Fowl. The roosters in my flock weigh about 12-13 pounds. These birds are truly the gentle giants of my flock. This particular coloration is the friendliest and will come up looking for treats and a scratch on the back.
I keep NO projects here at the farm, so you can be sure that the stock you are receiving are true 100% English Large Fowl Chocolate Orpingtons.
The birds you will be receiving are coming from a chocolate to chocolate mating, so you will not be receiving any black splits, Just PURE Chocolate. The birds pictured are of my actual breeding stock as well as a juvenile pair to represent the quality stock for sale.
We are proud to say the chicks we have been hatching so far have not had feather stubs coming out in their legs, which is a common problem with English Orpingtons.
