Large Granite Rocks in Coop - Good or Bad Idea?!

I have a few bricks in their run. I have seen them rub their beaks on them. They get a bonus when I flip the bricks they crowd in for the bugs.

You'll want the chickens out of the house LONG BEFORE SPRING.

At the time they're fully-feathered they can begin adapting to your weather and will quickly be able to withstand temperatures down to 0F or lower as long as they're dry and out of the wind.

We’re in Northeast PA, the room isn’t attached to the house and it doesn’t have heat/air, so they are exposed to the outside temperature, it’s windowed on 3 sides which I keep open during the day, cracked in the evening for ventilation / protection. I can post a pic in the morning if you’d like, and thank you for the article!!

I have three large, not huge, but just big rocks in the run and all the birds like to climb around and stand on them. The rocks get more attention than the perches do.
