Frequent lurker, first time poster! One of our production red hens has a large tumor like growth on her breast area. At first we though it might be a crop issue, but she is eating fine and laying regularly. My next thought is it might be a keel cyst. She is acting normal, but it seems to be getting larger and almost pendulous. Any ideas?
The picture is about a week old. The lump is between golf ball and tennis ball size and firm but seems to be filled with fluid.
