Large tumor on young chicken...Help please!

Hi all,
I recently bought a young pair of chickens. When we picked them up they seemed to be in great health. A couple days ago, the rooster started holding his head upside down and he was very unbalanced. Upon inspection of the roo, we found a large tumor on his neck. We imagine the tumor has now hit a nerve and that is why he is carrying his head so strangely.

Here is my question: We plan to contact the person we bought the chickens from to let her know what's going on with one of her chickens and also to see if she can make it right somehow. What should we expect of the seller? We are only contacting her because we believe the tumor is too big to have developed in the time we have had the roo.

Also, what do we need to do with the chicken? Is there any hope for him?

Are you sure that 'large tumor' isn't just a full crop?

Yes, it could be it's full crop you are feeling. Just to make sure, can you post a picture?

Positive. It is above the crop. We can feel both. It is very pronounced.
