Hello all! As a newbie, once again I have another question.....

I have 8 chicks that vary in age from 5 Weeks old to 3 1/2 weeks old. I have two Ameraucana's that are the same age and they are the oldest at 5 Weeks old. One is definitely much larger than the other. When they were one day old, they were both the same size. However, as time progressed, one of them just started growing bigger and way bigger. This Ameraucana is also afraid of every other chick. It will literally hide under her littler sister when another chick pecks at her. I'm a little worried for her that she'll have a tough time when I move her to the coop with the older chicks that are already out there. We just moved our Seven, 8 Week Old Chicks out there yesterday. When all the chicks were in the basement in my makeshift brooders, the larger Ameraucana would fly out of her brooder into the big girls' brooder. There, she would get confronted by the "big girls" and she would go hide in a corner with her head covered. She never got hurt. The big girls may have been showing off a little since I was there, but this big gal is now petrified if another chick other than her sister pecks at her.

I guess I have two questions. Is there something a little abnormal with her that she grew so much bigger than her sister? I wasn't sure if the smaller Ameraucana was nutrient deficient, so I had put probiotics and electrolytes into their water when they were 1 Week Old. The littler one finally picked up size, but the larger one sprouted overnight!

Second, is the "big gal" Ameraucana going to have it rough when I move her to the big coop? I'm really worried she's going to be attacked by everyone because they'll realize she's weaker personality wise.

Any thoughts or suggestions is greatly appreciated. I attached pictures. The first picture shows the bigger Ameraucana next to the waterer with the smaller Ameraucana in the back. The second picture shows the larger Ameraucana sticking her head and hiding under her littler sister. The other chick is a Midnight Majesty Maran that is the culprit of the pecking. And then when the Ameraucana reacts and runs, the Maran continues to try and peck her.
