Just went out to check on our chickens... I have one girl that's generally really loud and talks excessively when I go out to see them, and now she sounds like she's got laryngitis. Has anyone dealt with this from the cold? Should I assume this will turn into something more? It was very cold today; -25 most of the day, not rising much above that and with windchill bringing it to -50
They've been locked in their large coop that's draft free and well ventilated so I don't really know if the windchill really effects them.
Should I be concerned with illness or could this be just hoarseness from
the cold? Should she go back to normal when temperatures go above freezing in another day?
