Hey everyone,
Yet another chicken dilemma. I just happened to come across one of my red sex link hens looking like she had to poo, so just to see how she's doing, I decided to watch and see what her situation was. I didn't think she was sick or anything but she was just trying to lay an egg and didn't so I thought maybe I should see what's going on back there. Just in case. Well, it was a lovely mass of tissue. So I grabbed it right away, cut it in half to see the insides and then came here. I've seen lash egg before but the inside of this one, I'm unsure about. It has black in it. So what do you guys think? I'll include pics. Lash egg or something potentially worse? She's at least 4 yr old. We never got an exact age, just that she stopped producing as much so the people who had her were going to cull her and her sister so we just took them both in, and we've had her for over 2 years now.
