Lash egg?

I found this in my chickens cage this morning (she likes to sleep in a cage on the floor at night - she doesn’t live in it!)

We got her about 3 months ago & she didn’t lay for a few weeks then started to lay Huge eggs but stopped laying about a month ago.

She’s been poorly with an impacted crop this week (but much better now) and I’ve also just discovered that she has a lice infestation. I originally thought it was maybe something she passed due to the impacted crop but I’ve just read about lash eggs? It smells pretty grosse. She had a wet / messy vent this morning too.

Any ideas anyone? Thank you!!

It does look like a lash egg. Can you cut it in half and post pics of what it looks like?

I'll send out the "chicken signal" to people that can advise!

Oh, good then! @V2vee click on the link I posted for the lash egg issue. I believe I saw another thread where you got advice on the lice. Dang! You've got your work ahead of you...sorry you're dealing with so much. I hope your girl pulls through.
