Really I just need you all to confirm what I know is true. He is the sweetest guy and a lap sitter and I really don't want to have to find him a new home, but roosters are not allowed in our area.

I have considered moving so he can stay but the housing market is not allowing that.

He looks very boyish
You could get him "neutered" It makes it so they can't crow and they act like a hen. It has a name but I just can't remember it.

Caponizing does not, actually, prevent them from crowing. It prevents aggressive behavior that is exacerbated by testosterone. There are threads about caponizing in the Meat Birds forum.
