late christmas hatch

6 out of 7 that are dated for december 4th hatched last night. the 7th is on his/her way of entering the new world. There are 4 more dated for december 5th and 6th which have started. I will try and get pics when most are done.

i just whitnessed number 7s dive out of the egg. I need PICS lol

Also was wondering If I can take the dry ones out? I have a 75wtt heat lamp set up in their pen and the room temp is 82.
I also just realized how much is must suck to have to give birth to yourself. lol

I am still waiting on 3 more to hatch ( i think, I haven't checked under my broody since 6:00 am) but she has 3 out so far

Loaded her up on the 4th,

got one on the 22nd (this was her own egg she started going broody on)
got one on christmas eve (named her Eve) hehe
and one on Christmas day
hoping the others will be here today

I do have one hen that always sits on all of her eggs, and the other girls. I usally take them to the bator so she will continue to lay. But I always see her in the laying box.
