Late hatcher

I have two checks already hatched that day 20, and two eggs that have not hatched yet, but complete the float test. It is now day 26, mama is still sitting on all of them, should I throw them out? Or are they still good.

I have heard that Mom I can tell when the eggs are good and when they are not, but they 26 seems like it's a little overdue.

I've heard on other threads that if they don't hatch by the end of 25, then they will likely die or be defected.

Candle and look for an internal pip. Pencil mark the air cell. The beak is thrust through the inner membrane into the air cell. tap with your fingernail GENTLY on the air cell and hold to your ear, Can you hear a peep? If so, then it is still alive and may be worth hatching.

OK, thanks. Also, I have a red and white water 5 gallon, for all of my chickens, and for some reason it keeps pouring out water even after I tied with back on.

First off, I can't candle mine, they are blue eggs. Second, they arnt liquid when I shake them, yet I don't here any noise either

It will simply not hatch. It most likely died in the egg. Open it if you want to see.
