Hi!
I have a broody hen that started to lay on about 16 eggs, but they all started on different days. After candlelighting (not sure if that’s an actual word) them 3 out of the 16 didn’t take and now she’s hatched 10 of them spread between the last maybe 5 days but I still have 3 that are still alive but just need some more time but there getting stepped on and being pushed out from under the hen by other chicks, I don’t have an incubator to move them to. Does anyone know what I should do?

You can try to heat them with a makeshift incubator or hot water bottle. They need to be warmed.
Okay, I have a heat lamp and I was thinking of moving the mom and babies to a makeshift brooder so they aren’t stuck in the nest any longer should I leave the eggs with the mom with a heat lamp, by the way, I’m in California and it’s been pretty hot out lately so I’m really only really about the eggs being cold at night

I was just wondered what you ended up doing here? Did you leave the eggs under mum and mice the chicks, or move the eggs?
I have eggs under a broody that started at different incubation times...
