lathargic chick?

i got 2 chicks today.. about 4 days old.. a jap and a duccle. the dulcce hasnt ate or drank at all .. its kinda lathatgic . eyes half closed.. kinda flops around.. not hurt... i tried ti help it drink and eat but then it spazzedd out and foamed and thru up salivay stuff.i hope he makes it! any suggestions?

Keep trying to get it to drink. Did you offer sugar water? I used a small dropper for mine when they are like this. Also offer a little scrambled or chopped boiled egg and see if it will eat that. When you get it to drink you can add some baby vitamins to the water and that should help a lot. I don't know where you got them, but sometime they are in rough condition ( not offered enough food and water) if they came from a feed store .
