Boy, a late bloomer.

They all look like cockerels to me

Oh goody! I was really hoping he was a boy-and a late bloomer. all the other lavender orpington eggs hatched into pullets, and they have much smaller paler combs in comparison...but he is well behind the marans males in development for some reason.

Orpingtons tend to be slower to mature in general. My boy didn’t crow until he was like 6 months old
