Lavender Chicks at TSC

At TSC today I spotted three Lavender chicks in their bantam assortment, I've been hunting Lavender Orps for the past few months, so as soon as I saw them I snatched them and the three littlest runts up and headed to checkout.

Obviously they aren't the Orps of my dreams, but they are a beautiful, silvery baby lavender and I think they can tide me over for now.

Now the question is, what are they?!

Does anyone know what Lavenders TSC has in their bantam assortment?

Feathered feet or not? I got a porcelain d'uccle from TSC a couple years ago. It was the tiniest thing I had ever saw!! Can you post a pic?

Also, do you know the hatchery that supplies your TSC?

I bought a few too. Mine have featherless legs and dark, almost black, skin. I was hoping they'd have silkies but they didn't. One is super crazy tiny, about half the size of the other bantams.

Our TSC orders from Privett. I'm guessing mine are either Self Blue Old English, Blue Dutch, Silver Sebright, or Blue Rosecomb... I'm not usually good at guessing breeds though and that's not very narrowed down. I need to get a few pictures up so we can compare!

I didn't want to load your thread down with pics. Do yours look like the first ones in my post? I thought yesterday the tiny one was like the first 2 but its not. Its legs aren't as dark and it has a blueish tint to it but also has brown and coloring around its eyes.

These chicks look just like your first one. I've tried to attach a picture, but I don't think it really shows how silver they are.
Whatever they are, I'll probably grow them out to a sex-able age, re-home the roosters, and keep the hens (if any ) around as eye candy.

It does look like mine. The only thing that seems a little different are the beaks on mine are solid black and their legs seems darker. Of course, that probably means mine are roosters and yours will be pullets...trust me, I have a knack for finding all of the roosters. Or if I have a 'favorite' it doesn't make it to maturity for one reason or another. We had a bantam assortment of 10 about 3 weeks ago and we only have 4 left, the losses were from shipping, and I'm 99% sure 3 out of 4 are roosters...already...and the one that I'm not sure on hasn't been 'right' since we got it and is feather out really slowly so...probably a roo too...lol Luckily I ordered sex-links and sexed pullets too so that bantams are just for fun!

I am thinking self blue OEG. I have never seen one in person, just pictures, so my opinion is not expert. Very cute chick! I have 15 cochin bantams coming and just bought 15 silkies from Heirloom Orpingtions so my hubby won't let me look at the bantam bins....

6 Assorted Bantams

... and 15 more on order....

I have a serious illness. I need help!
(And Sebrights!)

But, I am toning down on numbers my farmer's accomplice is taking two Marans pullets (Thank God!), three EE's, and three Bantams. (Maybe the BLR Wynadotte too; I'm still on the fence.

Really, I'd like to re-home some of the adult birds too (70+ right now) and I may start selling them off as trios of laying hens, but we'll have to see.
